(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) – Virtualization and cloud computing Infinitely Virtual (www.infinitelyvirtual.com) announced on Monday that it has implemented VMware’s vSphere 4.1 infrastructure to offer its clients expanded power and cloud computing capabilities.
Infinitely Virtual cites many improvements with the upgrade including the ability to support a larger number of physical hosts and virtual machines per cluster, a three-fold increase in capacity over previous abilities, vMotion enhancements support virtual machine migrations up to 8 times faster and accelerated memory compression expands virtual machine density up to 25 percent.
“Infinitely Virtual is committed to staying on the cutting edge to provide the latest products and services to its customers. Adding vSphere 4.1 to our infrastructure will provide clients with the best solutions available,” Adam Stern, president and CEO of Infinitely Virtual said in a statement.
vSphere 4.1 has advanced tools and metrics, as well as new monitoring tools to ensure applications run at top performance.
Along with improved security, Infinitely Virtual says vSphere 4.1 has a 64-bit requirement that adds capacity.
In February, Infinitely Virtual introduced two new customizable packages for its Upload Virtual Dedicated Server hosting to enable users to upload virtual servers directly to the company’s Enterprise Virtualization Environment.
