January 5, 2006 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider INetU Managed Hosting (inetu.net) announced on Tuesday it has launched a suite of security services that enables organizations to significantly increase security on critical Web sites.
“Security is a top priority for our clients,” says Dev Chanchani, INetU’s President. “Utilizing our new security services increases the security, reliability and confidence in the mission critical Web applications our clients host with us.”
The security suite, available only to INetU Managed Hosting clients, puts processes in place to identify and address vulnerabilities hidden within Web site code and constantly changing software environments. The services include Operating System Hardening, Security Assessment and Comprehensive System Audit.
INetU’s Security Assessment service scans a client’s servers for known security exploits and creates a detailed report on any security weaknesses found and their corrective actions. The Operating System Hardening process locks down servers in a manner specifically customized to the client’s business processes. Comprehensive System Audit is a weekly by-hand audit of the client’s server configuration to measure and enhance both security and optimal performance.
