Web Host HyperConX Uses ScanAlert

June 10, 2005 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider HyperConX (hyperconx.com) announced on Friday that it had partnered with ScanAlert (scanalert.com) to provide security services to its hosting customers.

According to the agreement, HyperConX will provide ScanAlert’s Certified PCI Compliance service and resell ScanAlert’s premium HACKER SAFE certification service to its customers.

“ScanAlert’s technology and experience protecting thousands of Web sites will enhance the security of our customers’ sites and the shopping experience of their customers,” says Wil Hatfield, director of operations for HyperConX. “HyperConX customers can now meet the June 30 PCI deadline as well as raise their online conversion rates through independent certification of their site security.”

Visa and MasterCard have introduced the PCI Data Security Standard for any entity that accepts credit card payments ? online or brick and mortar. Compliance with the standard is effective June 30, 2005.

“HyperConX customers will save hundreds, if not, thousands of dollars by using this free service to meet the PCI standard,” says Michael Ayers, channel manager for ScanAlert. “We’ve made it easy for them to become certified so they can concentrate on their core business of selling online.”
