(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Hostway (www.hostway.com) announced on Wednesday that it has named M. Jay Sinder the company’s new chief financial officer.
In this position, Sinder will lead Hostway’s worldwide finance organization and hold responsibility for accounting, financial planning, treasury, tax and audits.
Sinder brings to the company leadership experience in finance, operations and corporate development, including helping to take a company public.
He has also had a significant amount of experience in the communications and technology industries, having held both board and management positions with companies such as Birch Telecommunications, Focal Communications, Ameritech, IBM and MCI Communications.
Sinder joins Hostway from Hu-Friedy Manufacturing where he served as the company’s chief operating officer and chief financial officer.

The company recently showed support for Adobe ColdFusion Enterprise edition through its joint sponsorship of the unofficial ‘Scotch on the Road’ ColdFusion event as well as the official ColdFusion User Group.
