(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Hostway (www.hostway.com) announced on Thursday it has bundled online directories campaign service Instant Business Broadcast and email marketing platform Newsletter Broadcast for free into its Web hosting plans.
Made available earlier this year, the two value-added marketing services are part of the company’s ongoing mission of helping small businesses attract new customers and ensure return business.
With Instant Business Broadcast, customers can send in their business information to Hostway, which the Web host then formats and submits to 10 of the most popular online directories, including Google Maps, Yahoo! Local, Bing and Yellowpages.com.
The profile can include a link to the business website or act as a stand-alone Web presence that features information about the business.
Newsletter Broadcast is a simple interface designed for creating and managing email marketing campaigns.
Users can plug their information into a template or upload their own HTML code and send it to a list of subscribers and track its success using the application.
“Instant Business Broadcast attracts new customers by getting small businesses in front of more people when they’re searching online,” says John Lee, senior vice president of small business hosting at Hostway. “Newsletter Broadcast lets a small business stay connected with its customers through newsletters and email marketing campaigns.”
The announcement follows Hostway’s recent launch of its new business unit, Hostway Enterprise Services, which serves the company’s enterprise customers, along with some added network services.
