Web Host Hostirian Buys ATCI Hosting

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Hostirian (www.hostirian.com) announced on Monday it has acquired web hosting provider ATCI Hosting (www.atcihosting.com), which will help strengthen Hostirian’s reach in the web hosting industry.

The details of the agreement were not disclosed. ATCI Hosting provides a range of services including semi-dedicated, dedicated and virtual servers.

“The addition of ATCI Hosting will increase Hostirian’s overall scale and strengthen our world-class portfolio of hosting solutions,” says Steve Szachta, Hostirian’s chief operating officer. “We viewed this as an opportunity to acquire complementary assets that position Hostirian for continued growth.”

Szachta says that ATCI Hosting customers will benefit from Hostirian’s round the clock network, hardware monitoring, redundant environmental controls, and guarantee of service uptime.

Hostirian will transition ATCI customers to its platform while its available capacity lets Hostirian grow along with those customers.

As a wholly owned business unit of River City Internet Group (www.rcig.net), Hostirian provides business class premium hosting, complex hosting, managed services and colocation services through its three data centers located in St. Louis.

Szachta added that the company has completed another acquisition this month, which it will announce in a couple of weeks. He says that Hostirian expects to be “very active in the M&A arena during the next twelve months.”
