A chart from Hostek.com shows its Railo hosting options
(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Hostek.com (www.hostek.com) announced on Monday that it has partnered with open source ColdFusion Markup Language engine provider Railo (www.getrailo.com). According to the press release, Hostek.com is the first web hosting partner in Railo’s hosting partner program.
Hostek.com says the program enables it to benefit from the direct support of the Railo development team.
According to Railo’s website, its Railo Hosting Partner program is designed for companies that offer Railo Server-based hosting. Some of the benefits of joining the program, according to Railo, include a five percent discount of purchases made from Railo Technologies, listing on the Railo website, ability to display the Railo Hosting Partner banner, early access to new features and releases as well as access to the marketing materials portal. In addition, being part of the program entitles partners to access its Silver Support Package.
“We have always been determined to lead the way in ColdFusion hosting, and Railo web hosting is an exciting development in the industry,” Jon Cavanaugh, director of business development at Hostek.com said in a statement. “At Hostek.com, we have seen how Railo offers speed and power beneath the surface to run applications and websites, as well as the convenience it can offer to users who are looking to quickly develop their projects. Our new relationship with Railo allows us to provide our customers with a great Railo hosting service with help and support from the developers themselves.”
ColdFusion Markup Language is a scripting language and a reliable CFML engine is required to run CFML on a web server, according to a press release. Railo has become a popular solution for ColdFusion-powered hosting, according to Hostek.com.
Hostek.com has a new range of Windows Railo hosting services and Linux Railo hosting services, all hosted on Hostek.com’s VMware cloud. Hostek.com offers a basic Railo hosting service as well as a silver Railo hosting plan that is available with a Windows or Linux operating system. The plans include the Railo Web Administrator panel for control over CFML and Railo settings.
