(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Cloud services provider Parallels (www.parallels.com) announced on Tuesday that Web hosting provider Go Daddy (www.godaddy.com) will discuss its perspectives on the future of Web hosting in a keynote speech at the Parallels Summit 2011.

The announcement comes a week after Parallels unveiled its speaker line-up for the cloud conference, which will be held February 22 to 24 at the Gaylord Palms Hotel and Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

This year’s conference is expected to be the largest to date with an expected attendance of more than 1,500 individuals representing hosting providers, communication service providers, value-added resellers, software vendors and web designers from around the world.

Go Daddy Warren Adelman, President and Chief Operating Officer of Go Daddy, will deliver a keynote speech – “Dragging Your Knuckles or Walking Tall?” at 10 a.m. EST on February 23.

The Parallels Summit, the leading global annual gathering of the Cloud industry, will take place February 22-24 at the Gaylord Palms Hotel and Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

“Previously, users needed to have a high level of knowledge to run feature-rich websites,” says Adelman. “Now, applications are so advanced, sophisticated and easy to use … hosting companies have to be performing at the top of their game to stay ahead of their customers’ needs. In addition to features and functionality, customers want reliability, security and performance – all without paying a fortune.”

The sixth annual Parallels Summit will focus on taking advantage of the many cloud services opportunities in the SMB market.

Go Daddy’s keynote is one of eight keynote presentations by industry leaders and innovators, including Ingram Micro CTO Mario Leone, McKinsey & Company partner Darren Pleasance, Microsoft GM of Web patform and tools Bill Staples, SoftLayer CEO Lance Crosby, and Symantec CTO Mark Bregman.
