(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider and domain registrar Go Daddy (www.godaddy.com) announced on Thursday it has introduced a new affiliate program, which gives affiliates a chance to earn 20 percent commissions for referring others to Go Daddy services online.

Free to join, the Go Daddy Direct Affiliate Program was created as a way to thank the customers who bring others onboard, says the company.

To become an affiliate, users must open a shopper account and then select from more than 100 Go Daddy banner or text ads to post on their existing website, blog, or Facebook page by copying and pasting HTML code.

When someone clicks on the link and purchases a Go Daddy product such as a domain name, hosting services, or SSL certificate, the affiliate earns a commission.

“Our customers are our greatest marketers,” says Go Daddy CEO and founder Bob Parsons. “They use our products, know the quality of Go Daddy’s customer service and can speak to the experience firsthand.”

Go Daddy tracks affiliate link referrals and rewards affiliates commissions on orders placed up to 45 days after the initial click.

Commissions are paid out monthly to affiliates either through direct deposit, PayPal, check or GoodAsGold. Affiliates can track their commissions with free, online tools found on the Go Daddy website.

Earlier this month, Web hosting provider Superb Internet redesigned its own affiliate program.

I get my domain name through websitePalace.com. Can I still qualified for an affiliate program of godaddy.com? If so, could you give me the steps on how to do it?

Thanks.
