(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — UK based web-hosting provider eUKhost.com (www.eukhost.com) has partnered with software developer SmarterTools (www.smartertools.com) to offer SmarterBundle for free with its services.
Worth £490 (about $800), the complete SmarterBundle license includes all-in-one mail server solution SmarterMail, statistics utility SmarterStats, and a help desk application designed for customer service and communications called SmarterTrack. According to eUKhost’s Friday announcement, the free SmarterBundle licence adds value to its Windows virtual private server hosting, Hyper-V VPS, Windows semi-dedicated server and dedicated server offerings.
“We are excited about working with SmarterTools Inc. and bringing SmarterBundle to our customers,” eUKhost business development manager Ryan Watson said in a statement. “With SmarterBundle, customers get access to full-featured professional editions of SmarterTools software, including a collaborative mail server, a feature-rich customer service application, and a detailed Web analytics package. We will provide full support to our clients pertaining to installation, configuration and maintenance of SmarterBundle Professional.”
SmarterTools has also enhanced its software lately, offering greater value to web hosts choosing its solutions. After signing a licensing agreement with Microsoft last month, the latest version of the SmarterMail mail server was able to extend Microsoft’s patented Exchange ActiveSync technology to more than 15 million end users, enhancing their mobile synchronization and communication abilities.
