(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider ESDN Software Solution (www.esds.co.in) announced on Wednesday it has opened a new data center in Nashik, India to meet its growing demand.
The company is also planning to open a new data center facility in Indore, in the next two to three years.
ESDN provides a range of services, including managed hosting, managed servers, server racks and cages, colocation and system security.
The company says it has developed the concept of high specifications, carrier-neutral and fully managed data center.
With two facilities in the UK and one in the US, ESDN has a customer base of 30,000, which includes domestic customers.
The new data center is layed out on a one acre plot of land with a built-up area of 40,000 square feet in Satpur areas of Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation.
The company currently has 150 employees in Nashik and is planning to increase its staff to up to 650.
“We have opened new data center facility in Nashik, with a built-up area of 40,000 square feet,” says Piyush Somani, managing director at ESDS Software. “We are planning to expand our facilities up to 10 lakh square feet of built-up areas in the next three years, by expanding the present Nashik facility and opening a new facility in Indore. We have already identified 7 acre property in Indore, which will cover a built-up area of 5 lakh square feet.”
