(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting company Eleven2 (www.eleven2.com) announced on Monday that it has launched its new VIP managed support.

This move comes two months after Eleven2 acquired Sharkspace Web Hosting for an undisclosed amount.

According to the press release, Eleven2 VIP support is a specialized support department and team that specifically tailors to its cloud, dedicated and colocation customers.

Eleven2 says its newest offering is the direct result of customer demand for a more specialized level of support for those on the higher end product lines. According to the press release, this includes dedicated account management as well as a dedicated support team.

“Customer satisfaction is always a priority at Eleven2. We want to give our customers the best hosting experience they’ve ever encountered,” Rodney Giles, CEO of Eleven2 Hosting said in a statement. “Our support team has been working diligently to make sure we create an environment at Eleven2, that shows the customers we care and we’re here to help. With the changes we’ve made behind the scenes, our support system will be even more effortless for the customer to utilize.”

Other customer service efforts on Eleven2′s website include various how-to videos, a community forum, and a knowledgebase.

Eleven2 says its focus for the near term will be on growing its cloud server product line that launched in June 2011.

“Cloud hosting is now our focus here at Eleven2, we are devoting a great deal of resources both in our development team as well as financial resources to grow this platform,” Giles said in a statement.
