(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — UK Web hosting provider DediPower (www.dedipower.com) announced on Thursday it has opened its third data center, located in Reading, UK.
Designed to accomodate expansion of DediPower’s existing client base, the new 11,000 square foot tier 3 data center has the capability to house 200 additional racks at 6KW each and FM200 fire suppression.
The company’s enterprise class infrastructure delivers “high capacity, robust and reliable storage,” making it ideal for companies seeking off-site data storage or business recovery and compliance requirements.
“Forecasts for the hosting market are very positive. Medium enterprises are now hungry for the cost and performance benefits they can reap through planned migration to managed hosting,” says Craig Martin, DediPower CEO. “Our experience shows that by moving from in-house to our high capacity virtualized managed solutions they can reduce their costs by as much as 40 percent. With our new facility, we are powered up and ready to deliver outstanding benefits, excellent support and innovative new cloud-based services for companies seeking to exploit these to the full.”
The facility will meet its rapidly growing managed hosting business which includes dedicated servers, colocation options, virtualization platforms and cloud based solutions.
The company expanded its cloud offerings earlier this year to include managed private cloud solutions.
DediPower operates two additional data centers in Berkshire, UK.
