(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) – Web hosting provider CoolHandle Hosting (www.coolhandle.com) announced on Tuesday that it has partnered with CloudFlare (www.cloudflare.com) to upgrade speed and performance for its entire customer base.

“We see a lot of synergy between CoolHandle and CloudFlare. It just made sense for us to work together. Adding features to further enhance performance for our customers is always welcome,” Ryan Morris, marketing director at CoolHandle said in a statement. “Over on our end, the service reduces load on our servers and greatly improves efficiency and speed. In turn, CloudFlare’s services receive greater exposure among our customers.”

CloudFlare says it improves website performance by caching content onto its globally distributed network of proxy servers. This stops potential malicious attacks from crawlers and bots before reaching the users’ origin server.

“We’re excited to partner with CoolHandle,” says Matthew Prince, CEO of CloudFlare. “The CoolHandle team has been terrific to work with to develop a cPanel plug-in that allows their customers to not only to sign up for the service with one click, but also see basic statistics and CloudFlare settings right from their control panel.”

In January Canadian Web host SKGOLD Hosting added CloudFlare security.

Based in Los Angeles, CoolHandle has provided Web hosting services for 10 years.
