(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Cobweb Solutions (www.cobweb.com) announced on Friday that it is now using Parallels Automation (www.parallels.com).
The partnership lets Cobweb streamline internal administration, improve user experience and enable the provisioning of business applications and services, including Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
Cobweb and its resellers can now provide multiple-vendor solutions, flexible billing and administration across its different service offerings.
Additionally, Cobweb’s channel partners have access to a fully branded, self-service portal they can deliver to their customers, combined with advanced billing functionality.
Prior to deploying Parallels Automation, Cobweb was using a control panel that had been developed in-house for user administration.
Cobweb decided to offer a platform that would support its ongoing strategy to develop its range of offerings to meet growing customer demand, while simplifying administration tasks for its end-users.

The company uses Parallels Automation to power its white label reselling model to expand offerings for customers and resellers, streamline administration processes such as self-service management of users and service billing, and improve the overall customer experience.
Cobweb offers a range of managed services including Microsoft Hosted CRM, Microsoft Hosted Exchange, Microsoft SharePoint with mobile solutions, web and SaaS hosting, and white-label hosting for reseller and referral partners to its 5,000 customers and 175 reseller partners.
Many other web hosts such as Pointivity Apps and NaviSite also offer Parallels Automation with their hosting plans.
