(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Cirrus Tech announced on Tuesday that it has launched its CloudTO cloud hosting in Canada.

The web host specializes in VPS and VM hosting and recently improved its VPS hosting services to provide private cloud environments, additional SaaS tools and extended support options.

CloudTO offers auto-scaling, built-in load balancers, seamless upgrades and redundant storage and infrastructure. It is hosted in Toronto at 151 Front St.

“At Cirrus, we’re always looking to bring our Canadian web hosting customers the best technology available,” Cirrus CEO Ehsan Mirdamadi said in a statement. “We designed CloudTO with the latest in fully redundant cloud architecture and infrastructure, creating the high-availability environment today’s consumer demands. We also created the three cost-effective options, Elastic Cloud, Cloud VM and Private Cloud, to offer flexible solutions that meet any businesses cloud hosting needs.”

According to the press release, CloudTO is built on Dell’s Power Edge C servers with multi-core CPUs. The hardware is independent so if there is any issue, CloudTO automatically repairs itself, bringing another hardware node online.

With CloudTO, resources are available on demand and customers are covered in the case of a failure with built-in load balancers to ensure complete availability.

CloudTO is backed by 24/7 support, according to the press release.
