Web Host AISN Launches New SharePoint Focused Partner Program

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider AISN (www.aisn.net) announced on Wednesday that it has launched its new partner program, which emphasizes its SharePoint hosting plans.

The channel program will provide channel partners with increased revenue opportunities, an expanded product portfolio and new resources and training.

The news comes a couple weeks after AISN appointed technology veterans Doug Humphrey and William L. Schrader to its advisory board.

The announcement signals the company’s intention to build on its presence within the Microsoft SharePoint implementation and development community, where AISN already has a rapidly expanding partnership base.

AISN says it will also develop more partnerships within the SaaS development community.

“AISN has been providing mission-critical SharePoint hosting and SaaS hosting almost as long as we’ve been in business, and last year, we were among the very first hosting services providers to offer hosted SharePoint 2010 – one of the hottest applications on the market today,” says AISN CEO Jay Atkinson. “We’ve seen significant growth in demand for SAS 70-certified hosted SharePoint over the last year, both in the private and public sectors. We’re gaining new partners every month, and we expect that to accelerate throughout 2011.”

According to the press release, the new AISN partner program will provide resellers with “greater opportunity for recurring revenue, the ability to set prices and margins, and additional marketing and training resources to help them grow their businesses.”

Although the program focuses heavily on SharePoint hosting, it also includes SAS 70-certified AISN hosting products such as dedicated server hosting, hosted email and applications, cloud hosting and disaster recovery planning.

The company has network operations centers in the Chicago and Washington, DC metropolitan areas.
