(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider ActiveServers (www.activeservers.com) announced on Friday it has continued its partnership with software developer SmarterTools (www.smartertools.com), which lets the Web host distribute SmarterTools software as an authorized bundle provider.
Under the terms of the partnership, ActiveServers will provide the recently released SmarterMail 6.x, SmarterTrack 4.x, and SmarterStats 4.x to qualified dedicated server customers at no additional cost. The software bundle is valued at $800, says the company.
UK based Web hosting provider eUKhost.com also recently partnered with SmarterTools to offer SmarterBundle for free with its services.
“We are very excited about this opportunity. Our customers now have the flexibility to choose the software that is just right for them with built-in options to upgrade as their businesses grow,” says ActiveServers president Robert Handshy.
SmarterMail is a full-featured Windows email server that has a fully scalable infrastructure, complete stability, and advanced collaboration features.
SmarterTrack is a help desk application built for tracking, managing, and reporting on customer service and communications, including sales and support issues.
SmarterStats is a detailed Web log analytics tool that lets users identify Web trends and analyze statistics so they can mroe effectively operate their online business.
