January 10, 2006 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — European Web hosting provider Active 24 (active24.com) announced on Tuesday that it had partnered with software developer 24SevenOffice (24sevenoffice.com) to offer Web-based financial and customer relationship management solutions to Active 24 customers.
The companies say they will work together to host and manage the solution, reducing maintenance costs incurred by customers through tasks such as backup and software upgrades. 24SevenOffices product suite includes integrated accounting, customer management, email and calendar, file server, invoicing and project management systems.
“The product cooperation with 24SevenOffice is an important step in our product strategy to achieve completeness in our offering to the small and medium sized businesses,” says Thomas Christensen, CFO for Active 24.
Active 24 will initially launch the 24SevenOffice products in Norway, UK and Sweden on April 1, 2006.
