(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider A Small Orange (www.asmallorange.com) announced on Thursday that it has partnered with conversion analytics software provider Spring Metrics (www.springmetrics.com).

This news comes a few months after A Small Orange named Ryan McDonald director of technology.

A Small Orange says that this partnership was born out of the recognition that its customers needed a better way to track online conversions like ecommerce sales, lead form submissions, and document downloads.

According to the press release, Spring Metrics was chosen after the realization that most analytics providers were either too hard to use or too expensive.

“Spring Metrics is different- their conversion tracking solution is both easy to use, yet remarkably powerful,” Doug Hanna, CEO of A Small Orange said in a statement.

A Small Orange says that while other analytics platforms require the service of a web developer, Spring Metrics is installed on a website through a point-and-click interface. Website owners only have to pay for Spring Metrics if their websites receive a significant amount of traffic, according to the press release.

“As a startup, we’re excited about A Small Orange’s ability to distribute our service to their extensive customer base,” Doug Kaufman, CEO of Spring Metric said in a statement.

A Small Orange says its customers can now use Spring Metrics to track their website’s ability to convert customers. Spring Metrics tracks conversions in real time so webmasters can receive instant feedback.
