(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) –Web hosting provider 1&1 announced on Thursday that it has launched a new marketing service aimed at small businesses.
The small and medium-sized business sector is the main target demographic for 1&1′s services as illustrated by its recent television campaign promoting its MyWebsite website building tool.
According to the press release, the 1&1 Search Engine Marketing Service was designed to help small businesses use search engines for marketing their products or services.
As was the focus of the website building tool, 1&1 says the new online marketing service will allow SMB owners to concentrate fully on running their business.
1&1 says that following an initial start-up call between the client and 1&1′s Search Engine Marketing team, the team of experts will fully assist customers with the online marketing process covering topics from choosing keywords to the set-up and optimization of a website for an online marketing campaign.
According to the report, a status report informs the business owner of all details around an online initiative including total investment, costs per click and the campaign’s overall performance. Adjustments to the marketing budget can be made through the 1&1 control panel.
The service is available starting at $49.99 per month with a one-time set-up fee of $79.
Earlier this month 1&1 launched a new smartphone app for customers to order domains on the go.
