(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Hostway announced on Tuesday that web design and cloud services firm Cognent will offer its customers Hostway’s suite of cloud and managed hosting solutions.

This announcement comes a month after Hostway launched its Channel Partner Program.

According to the press release, Hostway’s cloud suite includes its FlexCloud Sites, for small business web hosting, virtual private servers and FlexCloud Servers for deploying servers and resources on demand. Hostway says its managed hosting solutions are backed by a 100 percent network uptime SLA and 24/7 live technical support.

“Technology continues to leap forward on a daily basis and as such we are constantly looking for ways to offer our clients the most reliable and cost-effective solutions for their online needs,” Martin Paredes, managing partner at Cognent said in a statement. “Our partnership with Hostway gives us the opportunity to once again leap forward and give our clients the technology they need to be successful in today’s highly charged economic environment.”

Hostway has 11 Tier 1 data centers around the world and gives customers the choice of data center location. Hostway’s solutions are available month-to-month with no annual contract, according to the press release.

According to the press release, every package includes a 100 Mbps port delivering 50 GB FTP space and 2000 GB bandwidth.

In addition to website design, Cognent offers domain name strategies, content creation and management, custom programming and application development and search engine optimization and reputation management.
