Web.com Partners with Register.com

March 20, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Web.com (web.com) announced on Tuesday it has signed an agreement with domain registrar Register.com (register.com) to offer Web site design tools, Web hosting and domain services to their respective customer bases. The two companies have also agreed to a licensing arrangement covering all existing and pending patents for both companies.

Under the agreement, Web.com will become Register.com’s exclusive provider of do-it-yourself Web site building tools utilizing Web.com’s site builder technology and hosting services.

Register.com will become Web.com’s exclusive provider of domain names and parked pages for the Web.com brandLeveraging Register.com’s expertise in quality domain name management services, Web.com will enable customers to quickly and easily register and maintain their Web presence.

Web.com also recently announced its results for its fourth quarter and fiscal year ended December 31, 2006.
