VPS Host Infinitely Virtual Developing New Control Panel

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Shared and VPS hosting provider Infinitely Virtual (www.infinitelyvirtual.com) announced late last week that it is developing a new control panel for its Linux shared hosting and virtual dedicated server customers.

According to the announcement, the new control panel, called InfinitePanel, will enable customers to manage all of their Linux servers from a single console.

The press release announcing the control panel lists a range of key functions that includes management for domains, backup, email, database, FTP, Cron, DNS, software, SSL and bandwidth usage, among other functions.

“Infinitely Virtual continuously strives to improve our virtual service. InfinitePanel allows customers the freedom to control all of their Linux from one control panel,” says Adam Stern, president and CEO of Infinitely Virtual, quoted in the press release.

In July, the company announced that it would be offering Microsoft Office 2010 to all its virtual terminal server clients.

According to the company, InfinitePanel is a step in the company’s mission to deliver “practical, reliable and energy efficient virtual technology services.”

While the press release describes the company as “developing” the InfinitePanel offering, it doesn’t explicitly offer a timeline for the product’s release.
