SpamTitan allows administrators to search and release emails from quarantine, create whitelists and blacklists for their domain, create reports, and view domain history.
(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — VMware has certified the flagship spam solution from software developer SpamTitan Technologies (www.spamtitan.com) as a “VMware Ready” Mail Security product.
SpamTitan offers small and medium-size businesses comprehensive protection from email threats such as including SPAM, viruses, Trojans, phishing, malware and other unwanted content
According to SpamTitan’s Thursday announcement, SpamTitan passed a detailed evaluation and testing process on the Zimbra Collaboration Suite Appliance, VMware’s email and collaboration virtual appliance launched in August. SpamTitan is now listed in the VMware Ready Mail Security category of the online VMware Partner Product Catalog.
“By using SpamTitan with the Zimbra platform from VMware enterprises can benefit from our unique approach in utilising next-generation virtualization software which eliminates the need for unwieldy hardware, giving customers unparalleled flexibility, versatility and capability but at an affordable price,” SpamTitan chief executive officer Ronan Kavanagh stated.
The VMware Ready program provides co-branding opportunities for qualified partner products, and is a benefit of the VMware Technology Alliance Partner program, which was expanded in November 2009 to allow the participation of middleware and application software.
Now with more than 1,200 members worldwide, the VMware TAP program works with best-of-breed technology partners such as Accelops (www.accelops.net) and Neptuny (www.neptuny.com) to provide a comprehensive set of VMware technical and marketing services, support, tools and expertise to deliver enhanced value to joint customers.
VMware alliance programs senior director Bernie Mills said that the designation gained from passing the VMware-specified testing helps assure customers that SpamTitan makes best possible use of VMware technology and that it is ready for deployment in customer environments.
“We are pleased that SpamTitan qualifies for the VMware Ready logo, signifying to customers that it has passed specific VMware testing and interoperability criteria and is ready to run their mission-critical business applications and operations,” Mills said.
