ctober 19, 2005 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Content delivery network operator VitalStream (vitalstream.com) announced this week that it had released the latest version of the VitalStream Streaming Service for Flash Video.
The service includes support for Macromedia Flash Media Server 2, Flash Player 8 and Flash Professional 8. It also features globally load-balanced trafficking, authentication services, support for raw data logs and Web services-based reporting.
VitalStream’s workflow management toolset MediaConsole is now compatible with all the new streaming formats and comes with a media manager, a real-time reporting dashboard and pre-built video skins.
