The status certifies that Virtuozzo is capable of running on all IBM eServer xSeries systems, with the potential to partition physical servers into hundreds or thousands of virtual private servers.

To achieve ServerProven status, says SWsoft, Virtuozzo had to be successfully deployed into and run a customer production environment. The environment was provided by Australian Web hosting firm WebCentral, which offers xSeries VPS solutions powered by Virtuozzo.
