Viridity Software Names President and CEO

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Data center energy resource management firm Viridity Software (www.viridity.com) announced on Monday it has named Robert Steinkrauss to president and CEO.

Steinkrauss has extensive chief executive leadership experience in bringing early-to-mid stage companies to success, including dramatic organic growth, acquisition and IPO.

Before joining Viridity Software, Steinkrauss served as president and CEO of identity verification and security services firm Chosen Security.

He was also president and CEO of enterprise data protection and privacy solutions provider Ingrian Networks.

In addition, he was president and CEO of Xedia, where he oversaw the company’s revenue growth from zero to $21 million over two years and sold the company to Lucent for $246 million. 

Steinkrauss also served as chairman and CEO of Raptor Systems. 

He is a two time Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist — once in 2007 in Northern California for Ingrian Networks, and in 1997 in New England for Raptor Systems.
