February 9, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider VIA NET.WORKS USA (vianetworks.net) announced on Friday it has named Darin Elkins to managing director of the Atlanta, Georgia office. Elkins previously served as VP of operations for over four years, where he was responsible for implementing the Windows network and support infrastructure currently in use.
“Over the past couple of years, VIA USA has established its position in the market as a Windows-centric small business Web hosting leader,” says Elkins. “I look forward to aligning our expertise with our UK-based parent company Claranet to further enable the development and expansion of new services to address growing US market segments.”
