May 6, 2002 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Verus Inc. (verus-tech.com), a provider of web site solutions to hospitals and physicians, announced on Friday that it has been chosen to provide Web services for Duncan Regional Hospital in Duncan, Oklahoma.

Verus says it has supplied the 98-bed hospital with a customized Web site through its Verus VSite development tool. The hospital was able to choose colors and design, as well as a number of applications. Duncan?s Web site, says Verus, incorporates 10 applications, including job postings, a physician directory, health resources on the Web, hospital news postings, community class listings, A to Z hospital services, an online nursery and an online gift shop.

One of a number of Verus services, says the company, the VSite is designed to offer health care organizations a cost-effective method for developing high quality interactive Web sites. Sites, says Verus, can be up and running within 30 days, and are provided with hosting and ongoing maintenance by Verus.
