Verizon Offers Expense Tracking Service
May 15, 2006 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — IT services provider Verizon Business (verizonbusiness.com) announced on Monday it has launched its Integrated Telecom Expense Management Service. The new service tracks and manages the communications costs of large business customers, identifying potential cost savings and enabling them to focus more time and resources on their businesses’ core priorities.
The new offering is designed for expenses associated with all communications services and related devices. Verizon Business is one of the first service providers to offer an integrated platform to identify and assess both wireline and wireless communications assets.
“Effective management of communications expenditures can have a direct and positive impact on the corporate bottom line,” says Nancy Gofus, VP of product management for Verizon Business. “By transitioning the time-consuming task of expense management to a third party via our new value-added service, customers can focus on revenue-generating priorities that are core to their business.”
The service will be offered to large business customers based in the United States. It is the latest service to be offered by the company’s managed services portfolio and addresses all aspects of managing communications expenses for these customers.
