The report said MessageLabs waited two days for its IP addresses to be whitelisted following its complaint that international users were having trouble emailing Verizon customers. The Register said it was unable to send its newsletters to Verizon subscribers as of Friday.
Verizon originally claimed that it only blocked spam messages on an individual basis, but reportedly told Wired that it was blacklisting email from Europe in an effort to fight spam coming from the area.
