VERITAS, Intel Bring Automation to Blade Servers

According to VERITAS, customers using a variety of Intel Enterprise Blade Servers will be able to use its OpForce software to automate the configuration and deployment of multiple servers at the same time, eliminating the need to configure servers manually and individually before a server can be used. The company said its provisioning software was able to help simplify the process by providing building blocks for utility computing in an Intel-based Windows or Linux environment.
