According to Verio, its data centers, including one in Boca Raton, Florida, will be monitored on a 24-hour basis as part of the preparedness effort. The Florida facility, equipped with fully redundant power systems and backup generators, is housed in a building designed to withstand extreme weather conditions such as hurricanes.

As we now monitor the path of Hurricane Ivan, we will make certain that our disaster recovery and business continuity planning is fully maintained and accessible to all our customers.”
