The deal will expand the Oracle Grid to include an NTT/VERIO hosting solution delivered via NTT/VERIO data centers. The service will be identical to the service delivered from Oracle’s own data centers in other parts of the globe and is based on the exact same technology stack comprised of Intel, Linux, Oracle Database and Application Servers, and Oracle E-business and Collaboration Suite solutions.

“Our On Demand service enjoys a loyal customer base,” says Daniel Coetsier, VP of EMEA on demand at Oracle Corporation. “We feel locating our servers in cities at the heart of our European customers’ activities adds significant value. Oracle technology and applications are often complex solutions integrated with third-party software. Verio offers a one-stop shop to deliver a high-quality managed service for these packages.”
