Ames will lead VeriCenter’s enterprise hosting operations and core technical support organization, and will focus this year on further automating the company’s OpCenter service engine.

According to VeriCenter, Ames is an industry expert and a builder of high-performance enterprise IT organizations. He most recently served as the senior manager of enterprise hosting operations at MCI/Digex, Inc. where he successfully implemented uniform and scalable polices and procedures across all systems and networking platforms. Ames joined Digex in 1998, where he also served as senior manager of UNIX technical operations.
