July 13, 2004 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider Verio (verio.com), NBC Sports and GolfServe, an online golf content provider, announced Tuesday they will continue a joint sponsorship of the 15th Annual American Century Championship, providing continuous coverage of the most prestigious celebrity tournament in golf.

The 54-hole event is played at the Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course, located on the Lake Tahoe shores. It features current and former professional athletes and entertainers who have a USGA registered handicap of 10 or less, all competing for $500,000 in prize money.
