Verio Attracts Resellers with Free Month of VPS Hosting: Companies looking to boost revenues are finding Verio's Free VPS promotion the right fit for getting started as Hosting Reseller.

June 15, 2004 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider Verio (verio.com) announced on Tuesday that it has expanded the functionality of its Internet protocol version 6 commercial offering in North America, adding a full suite of IPv6 managed services.

New IPv6 applications include a managed router service, NxT1 support, a shadow service backup solution and frame relay support.

"Deployments of IPv6 protocol need to be as easy and as quick as possible to enable companies to take full advantage of this next-generation protocol," says Yukimasa Ito, president of NTT Communications Global IP Network. "A growing number of US-based organizations in government, healthcare, academia and research have been assessing the benefits of deploying IPv6-based networks, and with this launch of enhanced NTT/Verio services, we expect this momentum to continue at a much faster rate."

Verio is the official provider of IPv6 connectivity to this week?s North American IPv6 Summit 2004 in Santa Monica, California.
