(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — US-based web host HostDime (www.hostdime.com) has officially launched HostDime India (www.hostdime.co.in), its sixth international division, providing shared, dedicated, VPS, reseller hosting and colocation to clients in India and surrounding countries in Asia.
According to HostDime’s Tuesday announcement, its new Indian division operates out of offices in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India, located on the west coast of India. HostDime India clients are hosted either at the division’s data center in Mumbai, India, or at HostDime’s central data center in Orlando, Florida.

HostDime India lets clients choose to be either hosted locally in India or choose to have their sites hosted in the US at a lower rate. This flexibility allows HostDime India to serve a wide variety of customer needs, and work with customers who want a partner for India-based hosting or in any of the other six branch locations where HostDime has data center operations.
With sales and support operations in India, HostDime has an edge over many hosting companies without a local presence in the country. All HostDime’s international divisions follow a similar strategy. HostDime operates six international divisions in total, with operations based in Haifa, Israel (HostDime Israel), Joao Pessoa, Brazil (HostDime Brazil), Ibague, Colombia (HostDime Colombia), Monterrey, Mexico (HostDime Mexico), and now Kerala, India. The UK division, however, is run out of the company’s US headquarters in Orlando, but features servers colocated at the Blue Square Data Centre in Berkshire, England.
