US Broadband Usage Passes 50 Percent

The Nielsen/NetRatings survey found that broadband use continues to climb, growing 47 percent last month over the same month the previous year. In the same period, dialup users fell 13 percent.

Web hosting industry analysts believe the continued increased in broadband usage will have a positive effect, facilitating faster download speeds and accommodating more bandwidth-intensive content such as streaming media.
