January 24, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Technology services and solutions company Unisys (unisys.com) announced on Tuesday it has launched two new enterprise computing solutions, Unisys Enterprise Virtualization and Enterprise Orchestration, that enable clients to align business and IT more closely and reduce IT management costs.
Unisys says the solutions are consistent with its vision for a real-time infrastructure – a business life-cycle management capability that enables the monitoring and management of IT activities, in real-time.
Unisys says Enterprise Virtualization and Enterprise Orchestration create a flexible, RTI that enables enterprises to manage IT environments more efficiently, enhancing the quality of services provided and lowering operational costs. The new solutions feature business-driven resource automation capabilities, infrastructure discovery and implementation tools and resource utilization software for enhanced cost allocation.
