Union Datacom Launches Dallas IDC

Internet services and enterprise Web hosting provider Union Datacom (uniondatacom.net) announced on Friday that it had launched a new data center facility in downtown Dallas.

Union Datacom says the news data center consolidates the company’s entire operations into a single location. Previously, the company maintained its equipment and operations in several different facilities in the Dallas-Forth Worth area.

The facility, entirely owned and operated by Union Datacom, was completed in mid-February and officially integrated into the network on March 7, 2005. The company says a second phase of expansion will begin immediately and include the deployment of additional fiber optic equipment, power feeds and services.
