UKFast Sees Promising Third Quarter
August 8, 2006 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web host and Internet service provider UKFast (ukfast.net) announced on Friday it has seen another personal record-breaking quarter, estimating that it will double its revenue from new customer solutions by the end of the year.
First half figures show that UKFast has completed twice as many of its Graphite Max solutions as in the whole of 2005 and the company says it has doubled turnover every year for the last four years. Historically, the financial boost has been driven by quantity of clients. However, this year the ISP says it is using its growing brand to attract top end clients and extensive Internet solutions.
“Our second win at the ISPA Awards has combined with a strong presence at the Earls Court Internet World exhibition this year to build a stronger profile,” says Lawrence Jones, managing director of UKFast. “Many of the UK’s biggest businesses and brightest entrepreneurs have come to us over the last six months to make it happen. It’s fantastic to be carving such a big niche in the Internet. We’re on track to deliver 400 percent on our top servers by the end of the year, which shows just how prevalent the Internet is now in the UK business market.”
Based out of Manchester, England, UKFast says it is one of the UK’s five fastest bandwidth providers, creating solutions that meet e-business needs for clients including Sky Interactive, Dollond and Aitchison and Sainsbury’s. The ISP also sponsors the Sale Sharks and the Airwaves-Ducati British Superbike team.
