UK2 Group's WestHost to Colocate at C7 Data Centers

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Data center operator C7 Data Centers (www.c7dc.com) announced on Tuesday that it has signed an IT infrastructure agreement with UK2 Group’s (www.uk2group.com) hosting brand WestHost (www.westhost.com).

The deal is part of UK2′s move to implement a new US growth strategy. UK2 Group has multiple US-based web hosting brands, but its premium hosting brand is the Utah-based WestHost.

The company decided to move WestHost to C7 Data Centers in an effort to improve reliability, increase bandwidth, benefit from innovative Cisco equipment and offer new products and services for its customers.

UK2 expects the WestHost move to C7 to occur within the coming month, and when it does, UK2  says the transition will be “well managed and clearly communicated” to ensure a seamless process for WestHost customers.

“C7′s world-class facilities made them an easy choice for us,” says Jeff Hunsaker, president of UK2 Group US operations. “We are pleased to partner with such a high-caliber and well managed data center provider to offer our customers a state of the art data center facility that delivers high performance, availability, as well as excellent security and reliability.”

With four colocation facilities in Utah, C7 Data Centers offers colocation, data backup and virtual server cloud services.

UK2 choose C7 Data Centers for its low prices, geographic location, excellent customer service and selection of high-quality services.
