(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — This year’s Microsoft worldwide Hosting Solutions Partner of the Year, Outsourcery (www.outsourcery.co.uk) has partnered with Cloud services firm Parallels (www.parallels.com) to provide a reliable, scalable platform capable of delivering unified communication solutions.

According to Outsourcery’s Wednesday announcement, Parallels Automation provides end-to-end automation of all aspects of offering, delivering, managing and billing cloud services including modules such as hosted Microsoft Dynamics CRM, hosted Exchange, SharePoint and Microsoft Office Communications Server, available as pay-as-you go subscriptions.

This partnership essentially enables Outsourcery to launch more cloud services, more quickly to its customers, and also provides the flexibility to, in turn, offer white-label services to channel partners. The Parallels Partner program also includes marketing support and strategic initiatives to support Outsourcery’s growth plans.

“We believe that all businesses, regardless of their scale and location should enjoy the benefits of unified communications to change the way they work,” said Dan Germain, who heads hosting infrastructure at Outsourcery. “Our partnership with Parallels will enable us to enhance our business through improved automation and add new services and offerings to our customers.”

Germain was among the participating attendees in a Parallels Roundtable discussion Wednesday evening, which featured Parallels staff, partner company representatives, and members of the media. On the topic of cloud services, he said, these services “will change the way you work,” noting that solutions – such as collaboration services – will ultimately let businesses structure themselves in more logical ways, allowing them to not only gain efficiency and flexibility, but also allow them to focus more energy on their core competencies.

“Cloud services like unified communications used to be out of reach to many businesses due to cost and IT infrastructure requirements,” Parallels service provider marketing vice president Seth Nesbitt said in a statement. “We are fortunate to have one of the UK’s leaders in unified communications join our Partner program and bring enterprise-class Cloud services to businesses through Parallels Automation.”

In June, Microsoft (www.microsoft.com) announced that Outsourcery had won the “Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards” in the “Hosting Solutions” category, placing the company as one of the top providers of advanced integrated Cloud computing product offerings in the world. Outsourcery took top spot over finalists Fasthosts Internet, and Fpweb.net.
