(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — UK Web hosting provider DediPower (www.dedipower.com) announced on Wednesday that its co-founder and CEO Craig Martin will become managing director of DediPower Asia, and has appointed Chris Miller to take over the role of CEO in the UK.
DediPower says it has experienced rapid international growth over the past two years, building hosting facilities in both Hong Kong and New York.
To support its growth in Hong Kong, DediPower is adding Martin to its management team. Miller will take over Martin’s previous role as CEO in the UK.
“I would like to welcome Chris to DediPower,” Martin said in a statement. “The time is right to bring in additional and experienced management to help us fulfill our ambitious growth plans. I am looking forward to working with Chris and to building our business in the rest of the world.”
Prior to his appointment, Miller held the position of UK and Ireland country manager at CA Technologies (www.ca.com). He started at CA in 1997 as UK technical director.

This growth not least has been built on the shared passion for customer service that I have found everywhere within the DediPower organization.”
Miller started his career as a systems programmer in the UK financial services sector and has been in the IT industry for over 25 years.
These appointments come almost three weeks after the company announced it has launched a new content delivery network to accelerate the delivery of Web pages and other Internet-based content to users worldwide.
