ControlCircle has named Colin Tenwick as chairman of the board and Marion Stewart as director of operations
UK web hosting provider ControlCircle announced on Friday it has named Colin Tenwick as chairman of the board and Marion Stewart as director of operations to support and drive its expansion into the cloud sector.
The move comes a few months after ControlCircle appointed former Claranet sales director Matthew Parker as its new sales director.
ControlCircle has recently seen significant growth, surpass the £20 million revenue mark and has seen strong year-over-year profitability growth by delivering services to customers.
Tenwick brings significant experience to ControlCircle as the company continue to execute its “strategy to be the dominant player in the managed and cloud services market,” according to the press release.
As chairman of the board of directors at ControlCircle, Tenwick will share his knowledge in scaling fast growing technology companies from successful tenures at companies such as AVG, StepStone ASA, Red Hat, Sybase and Ingres.
He is currently the CEO of online booking, reservations and digital marketing company Livebookings, as well as the non executive director of the board at AVG.
Stewart has direct relevant managed services experience from her senior management roles, including customer solutions director at Star Technology Services, business solutions director at Gateway Gulf, and strategic relationship director at Savvis.
She has an extensive career in engineering, IT support, operations management and commercial account management.
Throughout her career, Stewat has played an instrumental role in driving focus on the customer experience along with process and automation improvemnets, leading to greater levels of customer satisfaction and organizational performance.
