October, 27 2008 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting and colocation provider Ubiquity Server Solutions (www.ubiquityservers.com), has announced that it will be expanding its operations to Atlanta, Georgia to provide services at carrier hotel 56 Marietta (www.56marietta.com).
According to the company’s Monday announcement, Altanta marks the sixth local market served by Ubiquity, which currently provides server collocation, dedicated server, VPS and IP transit services in Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Seattle, and New York City.
In moving into the 90 percent occupied 56 Marietta facility, Ubiquity has joined IT tenants including Cogent Communications, Highwinds Network Group, Peer 1 Network and XO Communications. The 160,000 sq.ft 56 Marietta facility claims it has the Southeast’s largest concentration of telecommunication companies boasting more than 60 carriers and 100 telecommunications-related companies.
“This has been a long time coming, and we’re all really excited about it.” Ubiquity lead sales engineer Michael Gazzerro said in a statement. “It was only a matter of time before Ubiquity’s services be brought to the great city of Atlanta.”
According to the announcement, all Ubiquity’s services will be immediately available at the Atlanta facility, including its managed and self-managed colocation, dedicated server and virtual private server hosting services. Ubiquity is a division of Nobis Technology Group (www.nobistech.net), which was founded in 2002.
