TyBit Partners with Social Network

September 25, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Client-side search application provider tyBit (tybit.com), a subsidiary of Web hosting provider Advanced Internet Technologies (ait.com) announced on Monday that social networking portal Fraser Net (frasernetcommunity.com) has signed on as a channel partner.

“We are determined to use tyBit as an integral part of our network to add value for our members and organization. The revenue share is extremely appealing to us,” says Duvall Brown, director of Internet services at Fraser Net.

AIT says tyBit is a major shift for online search, moving away from the centralized search engine model to a patent-pending client side application that distributes Web crawling, indexing and browser content delivery. TyBit provides accelerated search and maximizes relevancy by enabling users to search the Web thoroughly by instantly submitting searches to multiple online directories, major engines and other data sources in the public domain displaying all of the results in a single window on the desktop or PDA, says the company.

Company officials have indicated that tyBit is working with many interested capital firms to complete an $80 million first-round financing. The five-year plan for tyBit aims to achieve annual revenues in excess of $6 billion. The first production release of the tyBit application is calendared for the second quarter of 2008.

Last month, AIT released the second beta of tyBit.
