(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Content delivery network and CDN software developer Cotendo (www.cotendo.com) is providing content delivery services for popular financial website Seeking Alpha (www.seekingalpha.com) and website syndication provider Conduit (www.conduit.com), which is responsible for the content of 180,000 worldwide publishers including Fox News, Travelocity, Major League Baseball, Greenpeace and TechCrunch.
According to Cotendo’s announcement this week, its “Content Delivery Applications Suite,” which debuted in March, offers unparalleled performance, real-time control and analytics, and advanced functionality, including dynamic site acceleration, advanced integrated DNS services, and CDN balancing for active management of performance and delivery expenses.
Ranked by Alexa as one of the world’s 100 highest traffic websites, Conduit moved its content delivery to Cotendo to achieve more reliable performance and a better user experience, according to Cotendo.
Conduit chief technical officer Dror Erez said Cotendo offers an excellent value to customers that need advanced functionality. “We’ve been very impressed with the performance of the Cotendo CDN, particularly given their reasonable price,” Erez said in a statement. “Given our customer base and their high-value content, performance and reliability as well are absolutely essential.”
Seeking Alpha hopes to use Cotendo’s reporting and analytics capabilities and superior customer service to help its stock market opinion and analysis articles effectively reach its audience of investors. Seeking Alpha chief technical officer Koby Menachemi said content delivery is critical its business. “Cotendo RT Reports gives us the level of detail and granularity that we need — and which our previous CDN could not match,” Menachemi said in a statement.
